little one wriggling

I travelled north today to photograph Rhiannon in her last few weeks of pregnancy. A fellow entrepreneur and artist, Rhiannon and I have much in common. I however, am not pregnant. It was wonderful spending this quality time with you Rhi – thank you for sharing this with me.

Rhiannon’s website can be found here.

Outdoor Canada magazine calling Freestone Spirit

One of our photographs will be the “Journal Feature” (double spread) in the upcoming May issue of Outdoor Canada Magazine!

The image was taken while Sarah and I were on our honeymoon. We spent the better part of June in beautiful Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada. When breaking camp one fine morning along the Maligne River – we noticed a tremendous amount of activity. Here were hundreds, maybe thousands of dragonflies that were emerging. We photographed and fished there for hours. Many fish and many photos later we decided that eventually we did indeed, need to move along. Other beauties from that morning:

Thank you for your business, Outdoor Canada! It is very much appreciated.

Renos

For the past couple of days the camera has been idle, allowing the shovel to come out. Gardening season is on its way.
Also, a trowel seems to have found its way into my hands. It has actually been calling for some time – today I started to listen. Tiling work in Linda’s home – mmmm, heated floor!
