Mark and I share a love for the outdoors and with that passion, a desire to make a difference. This past weekend, with the help of some good friends, we made a small difference. We took some time on Sunday morning to collect garbage beside Mill Creek here in Kelowna. It was amazing or a little discouraging to see how much garbage we collected.

I guess that a big thing for me is that I do not understand why people still throw garbage out their car windows. I mean really, how hard is it to keep you coffee cup in your cup holder until you get to your destination or home?

If you have been thinking about doing a clean-up in your neighbourhood or local park but have been putting it off; I can tell you from experience that it is definitely worth it. We took two hours out of our weekend and look what we got accomplished.
