Studio Update
We have been very busy for the past few weeks and it looks like it’s going to stay that way until we open our studio doors on May 18th 2012. The walls are built, the drywalls up and we are just waiting for the drywall mud to dry so we can finish painting.
Everything seems to be coming together and we could not be more excited.

Facebook Celebration
We are making some big changes at Freestone Spirit Photography and are looking forward to releasing some very exciting news in the upcoming weeks. One of the changes we would like to make is to our facebook page and we are hoping you will help. It is time for us to regularly use facebook to communicate with our clients and friends. If you want to know what is going on these days you check facebook first. As part of our celebration of increasing our social media use we are going to be giving away a $250 gift certificate on April 30th 2012. The name will be selected from our likes. So all you have to do to enter is like Freestone Spirit Photography!

Babies in Bloom
Mark and I spent the weekend at the Babies in Bloom Fair here in Kelowna. We had a wonderful time meeting all the parents and getting to admire their beautiful children. Admiring all the new babies and toddlers was definitely a highlight for me. There is something so precious about newborns and I love the independence of toddlers. We are looking forward to working with our new clients who signed up for The Beauty of Babies Collection at the show. Our booth was at the perfect location to watch Bobs and LoLo who provided fabulous entertainment – I imagine I will get to see more of them as Amber gets older!

Love a Good Cause
We believe it is important to give back to the community in which we live. We donate to 1% for the Planet each year to help support non-profit environmental groups around the world but we are always looking to do more locally.
We have a number of charities that we support each year. This year we are excited to announce that we have a larger charitable budget due to last year’s growth. If you or someone you know is having a fundraiser please feel free to contact us as we may be able to help.
