Christmas at its best
Today we are doing something different. This post has nothing to do with our photography or our family. It’s about people going above and beyond – true Christmas Spirit!
The article is from The Globe and Mail and is about a random act of kindness. It started early this week with a woman going into a Kmart in Michigan and paying $500 towards layaways that contained toys. The woman
left a note saying “Happy holidays from a friend” – nothing more and nothing that could identify who she was. Since the article made the news her idea has spread and other people have paid off layaway bills that contain toys.
Christmas Spirit at its best.

Earth Hour
Today is a day that all of us get to enjoy a romantic candlelit hour as we turn the lights off for Earth Hour. The goal is to have as many people as possible turn out their lights from 8:30 to 9:30pm local time to take a stand against climate change.
Taking the challenge helps us think twice about leaving a room with the light left on. It helps us consider our use of energy, together on a common night. It puts it to the front of our minds in an hour of quiet contemplation. It is a lovely gesture and a lovely feeling.
